Luke Richardson

Luke Richardson is a marketing consultant specialising in the food industry, with a focus on shopper marketing and category management. Over the past 12 years he has worked with leading food manufacturers such as Nestle, Gu Pudding, and Kettle Chips, and has now set up freelance for large food manufacturers and brands.

Union St offers Luke not just a central workspace from which to grow his freelance business, but also a place to meet like minded individuals – especially those with experience or interest in food trends and research. Variety is a key component of his work, which brings to ether his passion for food with his love of research, with a range of businesses across different markets.

Every day is different. I love the balance between being creative and being a bit geeky with data – and I really enjoy food and researching new trends.

If you have an appetite for food trends and data, why not drop Luke a line at luke_rchrdsn@yahoo.co.uk?

Simon Redding

Simon Redding is a social entrepreneur with a passion for community and innovation. He is one of the founders of Monkey Park – a community cafe, bakery, workspace & cycle workshop in Chesterfield, operated as a not-for-profit social enterprise. He is the co-founder of Loundsley Green Community Trust, a development community trust; and also works for DEFRA, doing work on innovation and open data.

Union St is a place well suited to his community-focused working and entrepreneurial drive, and he sees it as an opportunity to be part of a community that’s trying to create real change.

The variety and the great people I get to work with is what I most enjoy about my work. Working in Union St connects me into a Sheffield social enterprise scene that I would normally be 10 miles from, and helps me to meet lots of cool people who inspire me.
