Revamp your wardrobe the Common Thread way! It’s local, affordable, ethical and eco-friendly… Bring a bag of clean clothes in good condition, donate them to the exchange, browse the stock and take a ‘nearly new’ bag of clothes away. More info here


The Vegan Breakfast Club

Craft Your Christmas Gifts

Union St is hosting some of Sheffield’s best workshop facilitators and small local businesses to offer you the chance to make your own christmas gifts. Workshops are available to book online in advance, with more details and options here





Yoga – Tuesdays & Thursdays

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 til 6:30pm plus Thursdays from 9am til 10am, £7 or £6 for students and people over 60 (first session free for co-working members) from Leonies Yoga (booking not required)


Neighbourhood Voices Alternative Choir – Tuesdays 

A new indie, pop & alternative choir run by professional singing tutor and band front woman GinaWalters, every Tuesday evening from 7th November with the first session free and then afterwards £5 entrance / £3, with more details here


Chigung – Wednesdays

Experience the benefits of this ancient system of exercise and healing. Adults of all ages and levels of fitness learn to dissolve stress and feel strong and at ease in body and mind. Acorn Sheffield #Renters Rising – Wednesdays

Just Craftin’ Around – fortnightly Thursdays

Brand new series of craft workshops starting at Union St run by Wolf Ate Grandma. A chance to craft while eating cake, drinking coffee, chatting and making friends all while learning something new and crafty.  Every Thursday until 21 December, excluding 2 and 23 November. Adult Learning Cafe – Bi-Monthly Fridays

Are you interested in returning to learning and progressing to University or College? This drop-in cafe is a relaxed and informal way to meet and speak to staff and current students from your local universities and colleges, including specialists in student finance, careers advisors and staff who support mature learners. Visit for a free drink  and a chat to find out about different routes into university and college, student finance and funding, and support for returning and / or mature students.
