LOCKDOWN

Working from home can be challenging during the best of times, so we offer physically distanced co-working at Union St (details here) plus co-working online via Zoom with some amazing people, and we’d love you to join us

Lockdown: Moving Your Work Forwards – A Goal Setting workshop with Jen

A mixture of practical exercises, reflection time and group discussion, our aim is that you leave energised and focused on your next steps. This Tuesday from 2-3:30pm, facilitated by Jen McCanna via Zoom, you’ll find more info and free sign-up via the Eventbrite page here

Monday morning’s online co-working hosted by Lucy

Themed around the style of working in our ‘middle zone’ at Union St, this is where our members would choose to sit if they wanted to dip in and out of friendly chats whilst also working on their own projects. Running for two hours from 10am til 12pm with our super lovely co-working host Lucy Owens, you can find more information and registration via this link here.

Wednesday’s Pomodoro Productivity hosted by Holly

If you (like us!) find focusing on one task at a time whilst avoiding distractions can be difficult, the Pomodoro Technique is highly recommended to help productivity, with a series of timed 25-minute work sessions interspersed with breaks to chat and stretch. It’s a great way to work through your to-do list, tackle a project you’ve been putting off, work through an on-line course, get some writing done, or pace yourself on a job search. We work in a group for increased accountability, plus a bit of socializing, hosted by friendly co-working member Holly. Sign-up for your free ticket here.

Thursdays: After Work Play hosted by Jess and Heather

“We don’t stop playing because we get old, we get old because we stop playing” (George Bernard-Shaw)

Now more than ever, we all need to look after ourselves, to laugh a little, unwind, be silly and perhaps most importantly, connect with each other. After Work Play is here to bring some brightness to your day by helping you tap into your silly side! Hosted by Jess Matthews and Heather Morgan of Voz Theatre, you can hear what people said at the end of our online pilot by clicking on the image below, and you can find more info and free registration via this link here
